20 000 Mauritians interacted with Nestor the chatbot
Nestor, a first in the country, was conceived as a part of the Nestle Breakfast Campaign where Facebook users have had the opportunity to seek and receive free advice on nutrition, health and wellness at a click.
Launched in June 2020, Nestor was designed to offer tips on healthy breakfast and the importance of healthy living. Nestor has garnered almost 20 000 subscribers since its launch and with a total reach of 474, 627 users.
Nestor has been interacting with Mauritians 24/7 via the Nestlé Mauritius Facebook page chat function and share tips on good eating habits. Users were able to ask Nestor any nutrition related questions by choosing the option “Talk to NESTLÉ.”
By registering to interact with Nestor users participated in a monthly lucky draw where they can win a basket of Nestlé branded breakfast products worth Rs2,000 for a whole year.
The Nestlé Breakfast campaign supports the company’s nutrition, health and wellness strategy to encourage people and their families to make healthier and balanced lifestyle choices. Nestlé is committed to fight the prevalence of non-communicable diseases in Mauritius.
