Pâté à la viande

The Pâté à la Viande is a delicious and traditional recipe that will delight lovers of hearty dishes. Easy to prepare, this recipe combines a crispy pastry and a generous filling made of minced meat, onions, and MAGGI® chicken bouillon for an intense flavor. Ingredients

 

For the dough:

  • 750 g of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of ghee
  • 200 ml of water
     

For the filling:

  • 750 g of minced meat
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 2 MAGGI® chicken bouillon cube



Instructions

 

  1. Sift the flour into a large bowl.
  2. Make a well in the center and add the ghee and egg.
  3. Mix the flour with your fingertips, gradually adding water, and knead until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 portions, cover, and let rest for 1 hour.
  5. Prepare the filling by mixing the minced meat with the onions, black pepper, and the MAGGI® bouillon cubes dissolved in water.
  6. Take a portion of dough, roll it out on a floured surface, and cut circles using a cup.
  7. Place a tablespoon of the filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over and pinch the edges to seal the Pâté à la Viande.
  8. Heat oil to 180°C and fry the patties until golden and crispy.
