Shish Taouk

This Shish Taouk recipe is a highlight for lively gatherings, featuring chicken skewers marinated in fragrant spices and grilled until golden and juicy. Ideal for gatherings, it pairs wonderfully with a crisp green salad or warm naan bread. Every bite of this Shish Taouk recipe delivers rich, delicate flavors, with perfectly seasoned chicken infused with spices and grilled to perfection.
 

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon low-fat yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 MAGGI® chicken flavor bouillon cubes
  • 6 skinless chicken breast fillets, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
  • 12 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

 

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, mix the lemon juice, yogurt, tomato paste, and garlic. Crumble the MAGGI® bouillon cubes into the mixture to enhance the flavors of the Shish Taouk recipe.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and drizzle with olive oil. Coat the chicken well in the marinade.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 10–15 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb the marinade fully.
  4. Thread the chicken pieces onto the bamboo skewers, alternating with bell pepper pieces for a colorful and tasty dish.
  5. Grill the skewers on all sides in a preheated oven or over an open flame for about 8–10 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and golden.
  6. Serve hot with a crisp green salad and naan bread to complete this delicious, aromatic Shish Taouk.
